Our Herd

We began our alpaca adventure in December of 2004 with the purchase of three young huacaya females. Since then our herd has grown to eighteen with the purchase of three more foundation females, a suri gelding, the birth of nine crias and the aquisition of two incredible young sires. We began slowly, learning as much as we could about the industry and daily care before we began breeding.

Our herd was chosen carefully for their diverse, quality genetics and fleece characteristics. We did not focus specifically on country of origin but picked our foundation females for their individual quality. Each female is conformationally sound, healthy, and has a calm temperament (well almost!!).

They carry peruvian genetics from greats such as PPeruvian Guellermo, Peruvian Hemmingway, 4Peruvian Black Magic, Pperuvian Felix, PPeruvian Caligula,  Accoyo El Nino, Peruvian Leon, Peruvian Drambuie, PPeruvian Monzon, Peruvian Bueno, PPeruvian Timoteo, PPeruvian Camilo, and PPPeruvian Yupanqui. We also boast Chilean genetics from Wiki Wiki, The Silversmith, NWA Ike, Pewter Jr. and Bolivian genetics from Bolivian Black Thunder, Redeemer of Bolivia,  Silas of Bolivia, Sinbad, and Bolivian Chieftain.

In our breeding program we are looking to the future of the industry by breeding for consistent improvement of finesness, density and uniformity with each new generation.

We have recently added two young herdsires (Collin’s Princeton – a dark rose gray, and Accoyo Nievo Diamante – white) to our herd. We hope they will increase both the fineness and uniformity in our fleece production.
